MacIRC is a smaller and lighter IRC client with a feel similar to Ircle, but with fewer features. It runs in less RAM and takes up less hard drive space, but it fails to reach the level of efficiency that the 2022 released Wallops has.
Unless you're hopelessly nostalgic for it, we'd recommend to check out the still maintained Wallops.
