If you're looking for a simple, efficient and no-frills IMAP e-mail client for System 7 - look no further! Mail Drop requires just a black & white 68000 Mac and 2 MB of RAM. It has been successfully tested with the our SSL tunnel for old Macs.
Take note that Mail drop does only support clear text for IMAP-login which will work with the SSL tunnel but not any modern e-mail provider. It also doesn't know SMTP AUTH, so you'll have to use Baton Mail as a helper for that. We tested both on our Mac IIci and it works fine.
